I bought this book and Black on White by Tana Hoban to prop in my newborn's crib and play area. He is absolutely riveted by them. I can see he is enthralled by the simple images and smiles (no not gas) when I flip the pages.

If you secure it to the crib in an easy to see spot your child will stay entertained for longer periods and fuss less. I realized he must have been bored so I rotate the images regularly and he seems really content.

My only suggestion is if the book was accordion style it would stand up wherever you put it in a crib without toppling all the time.

Of course you can do them yourself on your PC if you want!

友人の出産祝いに「White on Black」とセットにしてプレゼントしました。子供用なのに白と黒のみ？で、初めは迷いましたが購入して正解でした。まず、イラストがセンス良く質の高い絵なので、たった２色でも飽きる事無く大人でも楽しめます。そして、素晴らしいのは印刷です。白の部分はマット仕上げで、黒の部分は艶有りコーティング。まるで鏡面仕上げの様です。（もちろん触った感じも黒はツルツル、白は少し指に引っかかる感じがして、楽しいです）この値段で、この仕上がりなら納得です。又、このまま壁に掛けて、インテリアとしても素敵だと思いますよ。
